Pick Up Soccer NEWS!
Dear Coaches and Parents:
Starting Saturday July 25th from 10:00am to 11:30am at Dwyer Park, we will be holding fun pick up soccer games open to any former, current and future adult coaches and parents wanting to learn more about the beautiful game by playing and participating. Prior soccer experience or skills are not required.
Our senior coaches will run the pick up games and actively provide on field instructions such as player positions, formations, strategies and rules of the game. Our goal is for the less experienced coach to gain more confidence by increasing their knowledge of the game and for parents to learn more about the game their kids play so that it adds to the excitement of watching their own children play.
We will run this program on Saturday mornings until the end of August. In September, when the fall season begins, we will switch the games to a week night to be determined by the participants and field availability.
If you are interested, please come any of our Saturday morning games. For additional information, leave a message for Rob Rojas at 860-874-2960.

2013 Memorial Day Parade:
The East Hartford Soccer Club is formed entirely by volunteers. All board members, directors and coaches are volunteers committed to creating a fun and safe environment to teach soccer to the youth of East Hartford.
We are currently facing an extreme shortage in volunteers. Volunteer directors, coaches and assistants are needed in all age divisions, especially for players in grades Pre K - 2nd. Board positions are also open. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
If you have enjoyed the program and would like to see it continue to grow, please consider volunteering for a board position. All board volunteers should anticipate a minimum committment of two year (4 seasons, spring and fall). Without dedicated volunteers, this program would not be possible. Please carefully consider becoming a volunteer to keep soccer going for the children of East Hartford.
Please stay tuned for upcoming Volunteer Meeting Dates. Volunteer Meetings are intended for prospective volunteers to have the opportunity to meet current coaches, board members and find out more about the program and training. All volunteers must complete an online volunteer disclosure form and provide ID.
